NEWS AND NOTES
-The new bracket should be posted later this afternoon/early this evening. I did not have time to do it last night, which is when I usually do them. Be sure and check it out once its posted.
HIGHLIGHTED GAMES
-CONNECTICUT AT LOUISVILLE (Big East). Louisville is coming off a big road win against De Paul, but still has some work to do. Connecticut dropped a close one at home against Indiana over the weekend and still doesnt have any big time wins, so its a game both teams need in order to get closer to the NCAA Tournament picture.
-OKLAHOMA AT OKLAHOMA STATE (Big Twelve). This is a huge rivalry, but it appears to be somewhat of a mismatch this season. Oklahoma State is coming off a loss to Texas A&M, but that is hardly damaging and their chances of making the pod system are still pretty good. Oklahoma will need to string together some big wins just to get themselves into the mix.
-GONZAGA AT PORTLAND (West Coast). Gonzaga is coming off their first conference loss in two years, and needs to rebound from it quick. They dont have as many big wins out of conference, so their margin for error isnt as big as its been in the past. They need to refocus and take care of business in tonights game.
