By no means do the results of these drills have any significant bearing on how these prospects are perceived by scouts, since they would look different if we held the same workouts again, but they do offer talent evaluators an up close look at the mechanics of some of the draft's top prospects. We've seen NBA Draft picks and elite shooters like Jon Diebler, Jimmer Fredette, and Andrew Goudelock excel in these drills in the past, but it is worth keeping in mind that some players fare better in settings like this than others.
At face value, the most interesting shooting drill is the one putting these prospects behind the NBA three-point line, measuring their ability from that distance in a high pressure environment for conceivably the first time.

Surprisingly, the top two shooters from beyond the NBA line today were both big men for much of their college careers. Ejim is a diligent worker who improved dramatically as a shooter over his four seasons at Iowa State while the 7'1 Alec Brown developed a reputation for his finesse game fairly early in his career at Green Bay. Wings C.J. Wilcox and Jordan Adams were unsurprising members of the top-5, as both players scored at a high rate from the perimeter throughout their Pac-12 careers.
The least efficient shooter from the NBA line and overall, Patric Young has never been the type of player who was going to hurt you away from the rim offensively, but he opted to compete nonetheless. Deonte Burton was the worst shooter from deep among guards. He's been a streaky shooter throughout his career and still has to room to improve his consistency. K.J. McDaniels and James McAdoo would ease their transition to the small forward position at the next level if they can spread the floor efficiently, but didn't shoot well from the NBA line today. McDaniels did, however 17/25 from the college line.

Jordan Clarkson was the top shooter from beyond the NCAA 3-point line. Though he struggled through a late season slump due in some part to some family issues he dealt with midseason, Clarkson found his range today. C.J. Wilcox is arguably the top shooter in this class and it showed in the catch and shoot drills. Semaj Christon was just average from the NBA line, but excelled from NCAA range.
Syracuse wings Jerami Grant and C.J. Fair both shot better from beyond the NBA line than the NCAA line today. Both have room to improve as perimeter shooters based on what we saw last season at Syracuse. Melvin Ejim was the top shooter from the NBA line, but wasn't as consistent from college range.

Isaiah Austin 12
Khem Birch 13
Alex Kirk, Johnny O'Bryant 14
Alec Brown was easily the top shooter among the big men in attendance on the whole. Though he wasn't a dominant player in the Horizon League, he has unique shooting touch for a player his size. Cameron Bairstow didn't show great range on his jump shot at New Mexico, but he was efficient from 15 feet and made an impressive 15/25 NBA three-pointers. For a player that attempted just 37 jump shots all of last season, Jarnell Stokes made short-range jumpers consistently today.
Isaiah Austin didn't have his best day shooting the ball, though he had some impressive moments scoring the ball from the perimeter this season. Khem Birch attempted just 20 jumpers last season according to Synergy Sports Technology, so it's unsurprising he didn't have a great outing here, especially considering his shooting form. This group of big men didn't have many shooters, and while Alex Kirk and Johnny O'Bryant spent more time stepping away from the rim than some of their peers here, they weren't able to overshadow them in these drills with their consistency.

Two of the top athletes in this draft class, Glenn Robinson and Zach LaVine were the top performers in the pull-up jump shooting drills. Both players would benefit from improving their ability to create their own offense consistently. Rodney Hood warrants mention here, as although he wasn't outstanding in any one drill, he was one of the top shooters today overall.
It isn't surprising to see a number of big men near the bottom of the rankings for this drill, but it is a bit of a shock to see C.J. Wilcox among the lower figures. Considering Klay Thompson couldn't buy a basket in these same drills in 2011, it is obviously worth taking any and all results here with a grain of salt when the player's body of work indicates otherwise. Aaron Craft was oft-maligned for his jump shooting stroke at the college level, and he made just 53.9% of his shots overall today finishing 6th among the 9 guards who opted to participate in the shooting tests.

Xavier Thames was the top shooter on the day, thanks in part to his performance here. One of the more explosive scorers in the country last season, Thames was very consistent today. Jordan McRae and LaQuinton Ross both ranked among the top shooters here even though they attempted deeper shots than the rest of the field. McRae has intriguing roleplayer potential should he be able to translate his jump shooting the NBA line. Joe Harris and Rodney Hood were solid across the board today, only reinforcing what they showed as two of the top shooters in the ACC last year.
